British Chairs offer Genuine Leather (Cow Hide), PU Leather Effect, Leather Faced, and Bonded Leather office chairs. If a chair is described as Leather Faced, this means that usually only the parts of the chair you come in contact with including the seat area and the front of the backrest is real leather. The rest of the seat (headrests, backs etc) will either be vinyl or some other material. Bonded Leather is a term used for a manufactured upholstery material which contains animal hide. It is made up of a layered structure of a fiber made from shredded leather and a polyurethane coating which is embossed with a leather-like texture. Lastly, PU (Polyurethane) is the most realistic imitation of genuine leather. The surface feel, and overall appearance when stitched or gathered, actually wrinkles just like real leather.

Do you offer specialist chairs?

Unfortunately, British Chairs currently only offer standard office chairs that can be adjusted with various features. We do not stock any specialist products.
