British Chairs offer Genuine Leather (Cow Hide), PU Leather Effect, Leather Faced, and Bonded Leather office chairs. The rest of the seat (headrests, backs etc) will either be vinyl or some other material. Bonded Leather is a term used for a manufactured upholstery material which contains animal hide. It is made up of a layered structure of a fiber made from shredded leather and a polyurethane coating which is embossed with a leather-like texture. Lastly, PU (Polyurethane) is the most realistic imitation of genuine leather. The surface feel, and overall appearance when stitched or gathered, actually wrinkles just like real leather.
